Located on the south coast of Madeira Island, Casa da Quinta Grande in Câmara de Lobos features three bedrooms—two with comfortable double beds and a third with a single bed that can be converted into a double—making it ideal for families or groups of friends. The house offers two modern bathrooms with showers, a spacious outdoor area with Atlantic Ocean views, a barbecue, a jacuzzi, and secure car parking in the backyard. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. AREA The house is located on the south coast of Madeira Island, more specifically in the parish of Quinta Grande, in the municipality of Câmara de Lobos. Make the most of your stay and explore the area! Take in the views by visiting the Fajã dos Padres viewpoint, accessible via a cable car that connects to a small paradise beach, a restaurant and several holiday homes. There are other attractions nearby, such as Ilha das Aves, about 9 minutes by car from the property, or the Cabo Girão viewpoint, about 7 minutes away. In the neighbourhood you'll find other points of interest such as "A Venda do André", a place that carries on the history of Madeira's old grocery stores and where an average of 200 to 500 ponchas are sold every weekend. The centre of Câmara de Lobos is about 10 minutes away. In the town centre you can also find various essential services, pharmacies, supermarkets, the Market, the Henriques&Henriques Winery, the Press Museum and typical fish and meat restaurants. The city of Funchal is about 25 minutes away by car. PROPERTY RULES To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask that you observe a few simple rules. • Smoking is not permitted inside the property. A fine of €300 will be charged for non-compliance. • Parties or events are not permitted. • Pets are not permitted. • Please be considerate of your neighbours and keep noise levels down, especially at night. The property may be equipped with a smart sensor (Minut) that monitors noise, smoke and temperature levels, solely for safety reasons. This system does not record conversations or collect personal data. Should abnormal levels be detected, a member of our team may contact you. You are not permitted to disable, cover or tamper this or any other equipment installed on the property. In accordance with Portuguese law, all guests must present valid identification for registration purposes. Municipal tourist tax (when applicable): €2.00 per person/night for guests aged 13 and above, up to a maximum of 7 nights (€14.00 per person per stay). A payment link will be sent prior to arrival. Check-in must be scheduled in advance. If it is not arranged at least 48 hours beforehand, check-in will be subject to our team’s availability. Check-in: from 16:00 | Check-out: by 12:00 Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and an additional charge. By confirming your reservation, all guests agree to our house rules and accommodation conditions. OTHER NOTES All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide, free of charge, a baby travel crib, high chair and baby bath upon request before check-in. Requests made less than 48 hours before arrival may be subject to an additional fee. All properties are equipped with a first aid kit, fire extinguishers and a fire blanket. For stays of 8 nights or more, a mid-stay service is provided, including the replenishment of bed linen, towels and consumables only. This service is not included for shorter stays. Additional cleaning services during your stay are available on request at an extra charge.
