Moradia Padre Laurindo is a 306 m² four-bedroom house located in Funchal, near Barreirinha. With its rustic, warm, and minimalist decor, and room for up to 8 people, it’s ideal for families or groups looking for space and comfort near the city center. On the lower level are the living room, dining room, a kitchen equipped with an induction cooktop, oven, and dishwasher, and a reading room. There is also a suite, two bedrooms, and three bathrooms on this level. On the upper floor is the second suite, with a private bathroom and walk-in closet, and an office. Both have access to a balcony overlooking Funchal Bay. Outside, the porch and barbecue area are perfect for al fresco dining, and the garden surrounds the entire house. There is also an outdoor shower and lounge chairs. The house features air conditioning, high-speed Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, and private parking on the property. AREA Located in Funchal, near Barreirinha, the house is just a few minutes from downtown and the ocean. Nearby are the Barreirinha beach complex and the Old Town, with its picturesque streets, painted doors, and restaurants, and from here it’s easy to reach the Farmers’ Market and the waterfront promenade. At the end of the day, you can return home and enjoy the view of the bay from the balcony. PROPERTY RULES To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask that you follow a few simple rules. • Smoking is not permitted inside the property. Failure to comply will result in a €300 fine. • Parties or events are not permitted. • Pets are not allowed. • Please be considerate of the neighbors and keep noise levels down, especially at night. The property may be equipped with a smart sensor (Minut) that monitors noise, smoke, and temperature levels, solely for safety reasons. This system does not record conversations or collect personal data. If abnormal levels are detected, you may receive a message from our team asking you to check the situation. You are not permitted to disable, cover, or tamper with this or any other equipment installed on the property. In accordance with Portuguese law, all guests must present valid identification for registration. Municipal tourist tax (when applicable): €2.00 per person/night (ages 13 and up), up to a maximum of 7 nights (€14.00 per person per stay). The payment link will be sent prior to arrival. Check-in must be scheduled in advance. If not scheduled at least 48 hours in advance, guests will be subject to our team’s availability. Check-in: starting at 4:00 PM | Check-out: by 12:00 PM. Early check-in and late check-out are available upon request, subject to availability and an additional fee. By making a reservation, all guests agree to the house rules and terms of stay. OTHER NOTES All bedding and towels are provided. We can also provide a travel crib, high chair, and baby bathtub free of charge, upon request made prior to check-in. Requests made less than 48 hours in advance may be subject to an additional charge. All properties are equipped with a first-aid kit, fire extinguishers, and a fire blanket. For stays longer than 8 nights, a mid-stay service will be provided, consisting solely of changing the bedding and towels and restocking consumables. For shorter stays, this service is not included. If you would like housekeeping services during your stay, these can be requested for an additional fee.
