This pleasant country house, located in Raposeira, Fajã da Ovelha, is the ideal place for a country holiday. Built in stone in the Madeiran style, with wooden floors, this is a rustic and welcoming place for a relaxing holiday with friends or family. With two bedrooms, both with double beds, and two bathrooms (one with a shower and the other with a bath), the house can accommodate a maximum of four people. Outside the house is a beautiful garden where you can enjoy sunbathing or reading a book and relaxing time. If you want to put your culinary skills to the test, this house has a barbecue area available in the annex. Finally, don't forget to take advantage of the fantastic sunsets at the end of the day. If you are renting a car, the property has a parking spot. AREA The Raposeira site in Fajã da Ovelha offers peace and quiet. The countryside is perfect for letting go of stress and enjoying moments of calm and peace, in a kind of city 'reset'. With great sun exposure all year round, the municipality of Calheta is also inviting you to set off and discover Madeira Island. A 15-minute drive will bring you to the centre of Calheta, where you'll find the yellow sand beach, several restaurants, a supermarket and the fantastic Museum of Contemporary Art - Casa das Mudas. Jardim do Mar and Paul do Mar are about 20 minutes away by car. These two small villages offer a beach, bars, restaurants and a beauty all of their own. Small local bars can be found nearby. PROPERTY RULES To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask that you observe a few simple rules. • Smoking is not permitted inside the property. A fine of €300 will be charged for non-compliance. • Parties or events are not permitted. • Pets are not permitted. • Please be considerate of your neighbours and keep noise levels down, especially at night. The property may be equipped with a smart sensor (Minut) that monitors noise, smoke and temperature levels, solely for safety reasons. This system does not record conversations or collect personal data. Should abnormal levels be detected, a member of our team may contact you. You are not permitted to disable, cover or tamper this or any other equipment installed on the property. In accordance with Portuguese law, all guests must present valid identification for registration purposes. Municipal tourist tax (when applicable): €2.00 per person/night for guests aged 13 and above, up to a maximum of 7 nights (€14.00 per person per stay). A payment link will be sent prior to arrival. Check-in must be scheduled in advance. If it is not arranged at least 48 hours beforehand, check-in will be subject to our team’s availability. Check-in: from 16:00 | Check-out: by 12:00 Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and an additional charge. By confirming your reservation, all guests agree to our house rules and accommodation conditions. OTHER NOTES All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide, free of charge, a baby travel crib, high chair and baby bath upon request before check-in. Requests made less than 48 hours before arrival may be subject to an additional fee. All properties are equipped with a first aid kit, fire extinguishers and a fire blanket. For stays of 8 nights or more, a mid-stay service is provided, including the replenishment of bed linen, towels and consumables only. This service is not included for shorter stays. Additional cleaning services during your stay are available on request at an extra charge.
