This charming country-style house is ideal for a great family holiday in Madeira. It has a well-planned layout, spread over two floors, as well as an outdoor space perfect for leisure and entertainment. As you enter the accommodation, you'll find a large stone living room with rustic and cosy décor, ideal for moments of conviviality and relaxation. The fully equipped kitchen also has a space with a wood-burning oven. On this floor, there is also a guest toilet, offering convenience and functionality for everyone. On the first floor, there is a suite with a private bathroom equipped with a shower, guaranteeing privacy and comfort. In addition, there is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, both well lit. To serve these rooms, there is a shared bathroom with a bathtub. The outdoor space is a true leisure haven, with a swimming pool, outdoor shower, solarium deck, barbecue area, dining area and an open garage space for parking. AREA This property is located in the far west of the island of Madeira, in the parish of Ponta do Pargo, in the municipality of Calheta. As it is in a more isolated area, you won't find any shops in the vicinity of the property. Forty minutes away by car are the famous Porto Moniz swimming pools. Nearby you can visit the Ponta do Pargo lighthouse. In the town of Prazeres you can find a market and restaurants with typical Madeiran cuisine and a Pedagogical Farm with animals and a tea house. In the municipality of Calheta you can visit the museum housed in the 'Casa das Mudas' or take a dip in the sandy beach, right in the centre of town. There you'll find a medium-sized supermarket and several restaurants serving regional and international cuisine. PROPERTY RULES To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask that you observe a few simple rules. • Smoking is not permitted inside the property. A fine of €300 will be charged for non-compliance. • Parties or events are not permitted. • Pets are not permitted. • Please be considerate of your neighbours and keep noise levels down, especially at night. The property may be equipped with a smart sensor (Minut) that monitors noise, smoke and temperature levels, solely for safety reasons. This system does not record conversations or collect personal data. Should abnormal levels be detected, a member of our team may contact you. You are not permitted to disable, cover or tamper this or any other equipment installed on the property. In accordance with Portuguese law, all guests must present valid identification for registration purposes. Municipal tourist tax (when applicable): €2.00 per person/night for guests aged 13 and above, up to a maximum of 7 nights (€14.00 per person per stay). A payment link will be sent prior to arrival. Check-in must be scheduled in advance. If it is not arranged at least 48 hours beforehand, check-in will be subject to our team’s availability. Check-in: from 16:00 | Check-out: by 12:00 Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and an additional charge. By confirming your reservation, all guests agree to our house rules and accommodation conditions. OTHER NOTES All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide, free of charge, a baby travel crib, high chair and baby bath upon request before check-in. Requests made less than 48 hours before arrival may be subject to an additional fee. All properties are equipped with a first aid kit, fire extinguishers and a fire blanket. For stays of 8 nights or more, a mid-stay service is provided, including the replenishment of bed linen, towels and consumables only. This service is not included for shorter stays. Additional cleaning services during your stay are available on request at an extra charge.
