This renovated traditional Madeiran three-story house is close to the center of Funchal, about 5 minutes by car. It is accessed by stairs, and right on the -1 floor you will find a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with shower, the kitchen and laundry room, an office, and a living room. Outside you will find a backyard, outdoor shower, and a garden with barbecue where you can prepare your meals outdoors. The ground floor has two bedrooms with double bed, and two private bathrooms with shower. On the 1st floor there is an attic with a spacious living room. This property has a maximum capacity of 6 people. Private outdoor parking. Wi-Fi is available in all areas. AREA This house is located near the Barreiros Stadium where several soccer matches take place. This property has a great location for those who want to stay close to the city center of Funchal. Nearby you can find the Levada dos Piornais, the Nazaré viewpoint overlooking the center of Funchal, and the Quinta Magnólia Garden. Within a 20-minute walk you can easily reach the lido bathing complex, and within 25 minutes you can walk to the Madeira Casino, Santa Catarina Park, and the center of Funchal where you will find other attractions. GETTING AROUND The best option to get to the property is by transfer. Ask us to arrange one with our local partners. It's cheaper than the cabs you'll find at the airport. If you rent a car, any navigation app will easily find the address. ACCESS TO PROPERTY You have access to all areas of the property. INTERACTION We are always available to help or answer questions. We do our best to reply all requests. We also have an app for guests with all the important information about the property and other useful information for your stay. OTHER OBSERVATIONS - According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (passport or identity card). - Check-in hour must be scheduled in advance. If it is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours before, guests will be subject to the availability of our team. - All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also put a baby cot, a high chair and a baby bath if needed, but you should request. There are a first aid kit, extinguishers and fire blanket in the property. ATTENTION Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. When you arrive, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax. RULES We want you to feel at home.
